In 1975, Fiorentino Sandri, a small landowner, and Mario Pojer, an enologist, met on a fortunate occasion and established the Pojer e Sandri winery. This winery was destined to make history in the production of fine wines in the Trentino region. New acquisitions, investments in the cellar, a series of studies and intelligent experiments, following the wave of ever-increasing success, have transformed Pojer e Sandri into a prestigious winery between the Adige and Cembra Valleys.
Currently, the estate boasts several vineyards on the hills of Faedo, where red grapes are grown, and other vineyards in the locality of Palai, at an altitude of 700 m, where Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes are cultivated for the Classic Method wines. Other white and red vines are scattered along the hillside, producing wines that contribute to the wide range of labels that the winery offers, each one better than the last.
The products of the Pojer e Sandri winery are designed to satisfy the needs of all palates and pockets. Starting with the development of grape varieties such as Schiava, Vin dei Molini and Muller Thurgau, the two owners have successfully pioneered machinery, cultivation methods and winemaking systems that have made history, demonstrating a tireless desire to innovate and continually improve. As a result, they have distinguished themselves as a great example of collaboration, friendship, success and, above all, winemaking excellence.
