Being the result of traditions that have been kept intact over the centuries, surviving even to the recent Hugo Hurricane, the rum is produced by pure local sugar cane juice, hand-picked and transported on board oxcarts. The processing is highly craft as it involves the use of an old Savalle three columns still, through which the spirit arises in a first gradation of 75°, followed by filtering, finely becoming a great personality rum. Since it is a white rum, it has a lighter flavor than the amber rum, so that it is an excellent protagonist of cocktails. The same producers would recommend it for the realization of the “Ti-Punch”, a fresh pleasure, having given a magnificent tone to the fruits with its gradation of 59°. This alcohol grade is a special award given to the distillery Bielle to reward its high quality work, respecting nature, as the maximum allowed grade by law is 57°. The estimate for the distillery is to be found in the same awards given to this Rum Agricole Blanc: two gold medals at the Concours Général Agricole de Paris in 2011 and in 2013.
