Following manual harvesting, the grapes are transported to the cellar where they are pressed. The must obtained is fermented inside steel containers. The ageing phase consists of an initial period of \u003cstrong\u003ematuration in barriques\u003c\/strong\u003e, which lasts 24 months, and a subsequent period in bottles of approximately 8 months.\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003eArnaldo Caprai Montefalco Sagrantino \"25 years\" has a dark, impenetrable ruby red colour. As dense to the eye as it is to the nose, \u003cstrong\u003erich with a layered and varied complexity\u003c\/strong\u003e. Notes of jammy black fruit, rose and cocoa follow one another, on a spicy array of pepper, cloves and cinnamon; a balsamic note of pine resin finishes off a bouquet that is, to say the least, ample. In the mouth, class is manifested by the softness of the tannin, which does not undermine the persuasive character of the sip but, on the contrary, enhances it.
