Barbera 'Territorio' Claudio Mariotto 2013

The barbera Territorio, is once again proof of how Claudio Mariotto loves the hills in Southeast tortonese thanks to which, for more than four generations, his family is able to produce great wines. For the creation of barbera Territorio, Mariotto, cleverly combines grapes from his own vineyards, located in the municipalities of Tortona and Sarezzano, of the age of thirty years. The Mariotto family lead the vineyard traditionally and then they proceed to an expert ageing in steel and in bottle. The beautiful bright ruby color of this wine, fragrant and complex, invites to tasting so the Territorio can reveal its body. This barbera is characteristic of the Tortona hills, exuberant in his youth, pleasant to drink thanks to the balance between the aromatic notes of red fruits and structural intensity that caresses the palate.
