The origins of this precious wine are in Montalcino: its selected Sangiovese vine comes from the oldest vineyard, the Vigna Vecchia located at the foot of the winery, facing the south-west slope to Passo del Lume Spento at an altitude of 500 -600 meters above sea level, in one of the highest points of Montalcino.
