Rosato 'Calafuria' Tormaresca-Antinori 2015

The Rosato “Calafuria” by Tormaresca is a very pleasant wine, with scents of roses and jasmine, elegant and perfectly balanced. The company founded in 1998 by the Marchesi Antinori is also confirmed through this Negroamaro Rosato as one of the best winery in Puglia. The basement consists of two estate, with very different climatic conditions: Bocca di Lupo, 130 acres located in Murgia in the name Castel del Monte at about 250 meters characterized from tuffaceous soils and extreme temperature changes, and Masseria Maime in the upper Salento, at least 350 hectares of vineyards not far from the Adriatic coast, halfway between Brindisi and Lecce. Clean technology, precision-balanced and aromatic are the elements that distinguish this label. The grapes that give life to this Rosé "Calafuria" comes from the estate of Masseria Maime, where conventional agriculture is practiced, but very attentive to the delicate ecosystem that surrounds them. Thanks to the precautions taken in the vineyard and the cellar "Calafuria" can show itself as an elegant wine, balanced, fresh and well balanced with a pleasant acid-tasty vein.
