Etna Bianco "A'Puddara" of Tenuta di Fessina is a truly magnificent wine, from the intriguing fruity scents and flavor perfectly balanced: hit us from the very first glimpse. The fate, love for Sicily and passion for wine led this talented trio to begin this wonderful project. Maestrelli Silvia and her husband Roberto Silva and agronomist Federico Curtaz, in 2007 bought 6 hectares of vineyards on Mount Etna, planted with indigenous grapes, can give life to unique wines, perfect expression of Sicily and of Etna in particular. «I firmly believe that the work in the vineyard is only a matter of balance, the research of the natural forces present and facilitation of their ability to express themselves. This is from the earth, its potential, its strengths, but also its limitations, striving always to respect it, not to force more than ever due, in full conviction that the millions of years cannot have it delivered and should not be violated with unnatural approaches. I like to think of myself as a stonemason, as a humble instrument of the kind that gets a sculpture by removing superfluous matter». With these words, Frederico expressed his thoughts in a nutshell and the philosophy behind Tenuta di Fessina; this thought, combined with the passion for wine and of this land has led to the birth of Etna Bianco "A'Puddara" a wine that perfectly interprets the Sicilian territory, made of strong personality and unique character, without ever losing its incredible elegance and his extraordinary balance.
