Rum Agricole Cuvée Prestige Reimonenq 9 Anni

The Rum Cuvée Prestige Reimonenq 9 Years is a spirit to be savored slowly, in all its evolving complexity. Produced in the Reimonenq distillery, in the green Caribbean paradise of Guadalupe, a little while ago, it has been located on the Italian markets, after being the winner of the gold medal at the Concours Général Agricole in Paris. It is a rum agricole, made from raw materials that come from the small plantation of the Danish family Reimonenq. The masters skills have been passed down for years through these precious rums, made from sugar cane that are made fermented in open ponds for at least a couple of days. Then, it is worked with special column stills with an indirect heating: the accuracy - of approximately one millimeter - controls the temperature of the precious coer de chauffe, the heart of the distillation. For nine years, the rum is aged in bourbon and cognac casks, making it acquire peculiar notes. In 2016, the distillery will celebrate a milestone birthday, a bicentennial one: from two centuries the Reimonenq name suggests a high quality rum, such as the Cuvée Prestige 9 years, a captivating personality, a pirate, to be combined with a good Dominican or Cuban cigar.
