Terre di San Leonardo is the elegant blend of Tenuta San Leonardo. Historical name of Trentino, its history rooted in the Middle Ages, when the friars Crociferi built there the monastery which is now home to the cellar. Today is Anselmo Guerrieri Gonzaga, the last descendant of a noble family that owns it since 1894, to care for twenty-five hectares planted, since the nineteenth century, with vineyards that grow perfectly in the terroir of Borghetto Adige. A terroir particularly favorable for the cultivation of the vine, thanks to the wonderful exposure to Ora del Garda, a gentle tempered wind, coming from the lake of Garda. The beautiful ruby red color of the Terre di San Leonardo accompanies a large fruity bouquet with pleasantly herbaceous notes; a rich complexity for this valuable meeting between merlot, cabernet sauvignon and cabernet franc, which together offer a grandiose wine tasting, able to charm the palate with the perfect balance between soft and savory nuances. Terre di San Leonardo closes with a lovely persistence, capable of enchanting whispering tales of an ancient terroir.
