Whisky Single Malt Smokehead 18 Anni

Of Whisky Smokehead 18 years there are only 6,000 bottles in total. The Smokehead 18 Years Old is a single malt rich, peaty and full-bodied character very particular can be identified. It is bottled by Ian Macleod Distillers (owned by the way of the Glengoyne distillery just outside Glasgow) and contains a single malt aged 18 years from a distillery of Islay. The nose is very peaty and smoky, rich and powerful with notes of spices, herbs, almonds and tropical fruit. The palate is initially peaty and smoky notes with spicy, then come out the sweet notes of oak and vanilla, chocolate and even peat. The finish is long, slightly dry and fruity with notes of cocoa, salt and iodine.
